Anamul Steps Down as Captain, Taskin Takes Over
The Comilla Victorians have made a captaincy change for the remainder of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) season. Anamul Haque, despite a fantastic individual performance this season (including a brilliant century in the last match), will step down from the captaincy.
This decision aims to help Anamul focus solely on his batting, which has been crucial to the team’s success. He’s currently the tournament’s leading run-scorer.
Taking over the captaincy will be Taskin Ahmed, who has been equally impressive this season, leading the wicket-taking charts. The team believes Taskin’s strong leadership qualities and on-field performance will guide them towards a successful playoff run.
This change is expected to bring a fresh perspective and allow both players to contribute optimally to the team’s success in the remaining matches of the BPL.
