Modi Amazed by Vaibhav’s Brilliance: “Such a Big Record at This Age!”

At just 14 years and 32 days old, India’s cricket prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi has stunned the cricketing world by scoring a century in just 35 balls in the IPL. Playing for Rajasthan Royals, Vaibhav scored 101 runs off 38 balls. With this single innings, the young batter has broken multiple records and captured attention nationwide and beyond. His batting style, skill, and fearless approach have all contributed to his rising fame. Stories of his achievements are now resonating not only across India but around the world.

Vaibhav’s remarkable performance has even caught the attention of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the inauguration of the Khelo India Youth Games, Modi praised Vaibhav, saying:
“We have all seen Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s performance. He’s playing brilliantly in the IPL. A boy from Bihar, Vaibhav has created such a massive record at such a young age. This is the result of hard work. His experience in playing matches at various levels has helped him greatly.”

By scoring a century in just 35 balls, Vaibhav set multiple records, including becoming the youngest player in the world to score a century in a professional T20 league. Prime Minister Modi added that Vaibhav’s achievement will inspire athletes across the country, stating:
“The more you play, the more you improve.”

Ironically, on the same day Modi praised him, Vaibhav couldn’t deliver in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens—getting out for just 4 runs off 2 balls.
