The Top End T20 Series is set to begin later this month on Australian soil, featuring Bangladesh ‘A’ team. Ahead of the tournament in Darwin, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad. On Monday (August 4), experienced wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan Sohan was named captain of the Bangladesh ‘A’ team.
In the opening match of the series on August 14, Bangladesh ‘A’ will face off against Pakistan ‘A’. The 15-member squad includes several players with national team experience alongside Sohan. Mohammad Naim Sheikh, Yasir Ali Chowdhury, Afif Hossain, and Hasan Mahmud will feature in the tournament. Promising young players such as Zishan Alam, Mahidul Islam Bhuiyan, Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi, Nayeem Hasan, and Mushfik Hasan are also part of the squad.
