Pakistan to Receive a Huge Reward for Defeating IndiaAbout three months ago, India defeated Pakistan in the final of the Asia Cup to win the title. Due to various complications, players like Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah have still not received that trophy. Meanwhile, on Sunday, India and Pakistan once again faced each other in the final of the Under-19 Asia Cup. This time, however, victory came through the Pakistani youngsters. After defeating India and becoming champions, a large cash reward has been announced for the Pakistani cricketers. The final, held at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, turned out to be completely one-sided. Batting first, Pakistan Under-19 posted a massive total of 348 runs. Chasing the huge target, the Indian youth team was bowled out for just 156 runs in 26.2 overs. As a result, Pakistan secured a commanding 191-run victory and lifted the Youth Asia Cup trophy for the second time.Since the win came against arch-rivals India, the joy was even greater. He revealed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a reward of 10 million Pakistani rupees (approximately 4.3 million Bangladeshi taka) for each player, and expressed hope that they would continue to make the country proud in the future. After winning the title, members of the youth team met with the Prime Minister.Sarfaraz said that the Prime Minister highly praised the players’ performances and acknowledged the tireless efforts of both the cricketers and the coaching staff behind the success. The hero of the final for Pakistan was Samir Minhaj, who played a brilliant innings of 172 runs. Sarfaraz also praised Ahmed Hussain’s contribution of 56 runs off 72 balls in the middle order.Meanwhile, Sarfaraz criticized the behavior of the Indian players during the final, claiming that their conduct throughout the match was not in line with the spirit of cricket. He added that the Pakistan team celebrated the victory while maintaining sportsmanship, and emphasized that courtesy and discipline should always be upheld in cricket.
