The Bangladesh cricket team is currently busy with the ongoing Test series against South Africa at home. Immediately after this series, they will face Afghanistan in a three-match ODI series in the United Arab Emirates. The first match is scheduled for November 6. However, there are concerns about Sakib Al Hasan’s participation in this upcoming series. When asked about his availability, Sakib remarked, “I can’t say; that should be the board’s decision.
” The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has yet to make any official statement regarding Sakib’s status. Previously, Sakib intended to retire from Test cricket after the match against South Africa, and while he was initially included in the squad, he could not return to play due to security concerns and missed the Mirpur Test. The ODIs against Afghanistan will take place in Sharjah on November 6, 9, and 11.
