Balanced Rangpur Riders Ready to Dominate Global Super League

Rangpur Riders is all set to participate in the Global Super League 2024, which will be held in Guyana from November 26 to December 7. As this is a global franchise league, cricketing giants from around the world are eagerly anticipating the event. It promises to be an intriguing battle, showcasing the batting talents of numerous players.

In preparation for the tournament, Rangpur Riders have been training under the guidance of assistant coach Mohammad Ashraful at the academy ground of Shere Bangla National Stadium. Ahead of their departure on November 18, captain Nurul Hasan Sohan shared his thoughts and positive vibes with the team to build solid momentum. He emphasized his utmost dedication and the perseverance of his teammates, which he believes will benefit both the Bangladesh cricket team and Rangpur Riders as they approach the BPL.

Shaniam Taneem, the team director, is highly optimistic about the balanced composition of the team, which excels in batting, bowling, and fielding. He hopes they are packed with confidence and ready to show their resilience. Nazmul Abedin Fahim also noted that it is a significant advantage for Rangpur Riders to have a Bangladeshi team competing in a global cricketing tournament.

Captain Nurul Hasan Sohan, who played during Bangladesh’s last tour of the West Indies in 2022, expressed that the conditions in Guyana will be advantageous for Rangpur Riders. The Global Super League will feature five teams, including the host team, Guyana Amazon Warriors, as well as Pakistan’s Lahore Qalandars, England’s Hampshire Hawks, and Australia’s Victoria. Sohan expects this tournament will provide a huge opportunity for Rangpur Riders to make a significant impact throughout the competition.
