Lewis and Hope Power West Indies to Series-Clinching Victory

A completely dominating batting display by West Indies batters, especially Evin Lewis, who scored 68 runs, including 4 boundaries and 7 sixes, with a humongous strike rate of 219.35. Shai Hope hammered 54 runs, smashing 7 boundaries and 3 sixes, while captain Rovman Powell’s blistering 38 runs helped West Indies to a massive 5-wicket victory.

Evin Lewis and Shai Hope put together a mammoth 136-run partnership in just 55 balls, setting the tone for West Indies right from the start. Although they lost the first three T20s of the series, they formed a fine partnership today and managed to secure a win in the fourth T20.

Earlier in the day, England’s top order put on a blistering display, with Philip Salt scoring a magnificent 55 runs in 35 balls and Will Jacks hammering a quickfire 25. Captain Jos Buttler tried to consolidate the middle order, scoring 38 runs. Jacob Bethwell, a solid top-order batter, scored 62 runs in 32 balls, including 4 boundaries and 5 maximums. Motie, the young but experienced spin bowling wizard, was trying to find his rhythm while tossing the ball with some awkward bounce.

West Indies made their day very special by defeating the confident-looking England side. It was an absolute domination by the West Indies batters.
