The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the women’s T20 series.

After securing a 7-wicket victory in the third ODI at Mirpur, Nigar Sultana Joty and her team are now gearing up for a three-match T20 series. The BCB announced the squad for this series on Monday.

Nigar Sultana will lead the team as captain. Taz Nehar, who had a disappointing debut in the last T20 World Cup, has been given another chance. Jannatul Ferdous and Sanjida Akter have also been included in the squad. However, pacer Marufa Akter will miss this series, while experienced player Jahanara Alam retains her spot.

The Bangladesh women’s team will face Ireland in the first T20 on December 5. The second and third matches are scheduled for December 7 and 9, respectively.
