Bangladesh Batting First in Series-Deciding Match

Bangladesh lost the first ODI of the three-match series to the West Indies by five wickets. To keep the series alive, Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s team must win the second match. However, in this do-or-die clash, Bangladesh lost the toss, and the West Indies opted to bowl first.

In this crucial match, Bangladesh made one change to their XI. Pacer Taskin Ahmed was replaced by left-arm seamer Shoriful Islam. Despite losing the toss, Bangladesh captain Miraz remains optimistic about posting a good total. He stated, “We are playing on the same pitch as the first match, so this will be a good opportunity for the spinners. If we can post a strong score, we can win this match. Bowling on this wicket can be challenging, but I believe we can bowl well.”
