The ICC Champions Trophy is set to begin on February 19 in Pakistan. Tickets for the group stage matches and the second semifinal, scheduled to be held in Pakistan, will go on sale starting tomorrow.
General admission tickets in Pakistan are priced at 1,000 Pakistani Rupees, while premium seating is set at 1,500 Rupees. The matches will take place in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
Tickets for India’s group stage matches, which will be held on February 20, February 23, and March 2 in Dubai, will be announced soon. Meanwhile, tickets for the final, set to take place on March 9, will be available after the first semifinal.
This 19-day tournament will feature 15 matches, with eight teams competing for the title. ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya emphasized the significance of hosting Pakistan’s first global cricket tournament since 1996. Tournament Director Sumair Ahmed Syed called the event a historic moment for cricket in Pakistan and urged fans to purchase tickets only through authorized channels to ensure a smooth experience.
Group A consists of Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while Group B includes Afghanistan, South Africa, England, and Australia.
One of the most anticipated matches of the tournament will see arch-rivals Pakistan and India face off on February 23 in Dubai.
