Mohammad Salauddin has resigned from his position as the assistant coach of the Bangladesh national cricket team.
From Wednesday morning, news began circulating in the cricket community that Mohammad Salauddin was stepping down from his role as the team’s chief assistant coach. However, Salauddin himself has not made any official statement regarding this.
He joined the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on November 5 of last year, with a contract extending until the 2027 World Cup. However, citing personal reasons, he stepped down exactly one year after taking the role.
Former national team captain Mohammad Ashraful has been appointed as the team’s new batting coach for the upcoming Ireland series.
The Ireland team is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on November 6. During the tour, they will play two Tests and three T20 matches.
The first Test will be held in Sylhet from November 11 to 15, and the second Test in Dhaka from November 19 to 23.
The T20 series will take place in Chattogram on November 27 and 29, with the final match scheduled for December 2.
