Cricket is an Inseparable Part of Our Family – Sachin’s Daughter Sara

Sara Tendulkar, daughter of Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, is stepping into a new role in cricket. She has bought a team in a T20 league. The ownership of the Mumbai team is now in her hands.

Until now, Sara was seen in cricket stadiums as a spectator. But this time, she will be involved in a new capacity. She has acquired ownership of the Mumbai team in a T20 league. However, this is not a traditional cricket tournament—it is an internet-based game.

Sara has bought the Mumbai team in the Global E-Cricket Premier League, which is played on a game called Real Cricket. The league has already completed two seasons. In the first season, 200,000 players registered, while the second season saw 910,000 registrations. The number is expected to increase even more in the third season.

This game is broadcast on various channels and apps, including Jio Cinema and Sports 18. It has now also partnered with Star Sports, meaning that this season the game might be streamed on the JioHotstar app.

Sara is thrilled to take on a new role in cricket as a member of a cricketing family. She said, “Cricket is an inseparable part of our family. E-sports is very exciting. Owning the Mumbai team in the Global E-Cricket Premier League is a dream come true for me. I will try to build a strong team by bringing in new talent. Hopefully, more people will be encouraged to participate in this game in the future.”

Even after retiring, Sachin has remained involved in cricket. He plays in the Legends League Cricket and also serves as a mentor for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. Sachin’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, also plays for Mumbai in the IPL and represents Goa in domestic cricket. Now, another member of the family has joined the world of cricket.
