India-Pakistan Match Tickets Sold Out in Just One Hour

India will kick off their Champions Trophy campaign on February 20 with a match against Bangladesh. Although Pakistan is hosting the tournament, India’s matches will be played in Dubai. The group-stage matches have generated immense excitement among fans.

As soon as the online ticket sales were announced, all tickets for India’s matches were sold out within moments. On Monday, February 3, the ICC announced that general tickets for these matches would be available online at 4 PM local time. However, a massive surge in demand led to the tickets being snapped up instantly.

Among the three group-stage matches, the highest demand was for the highly anticipated India-Pakistan clash on February 23. Many fans waited online for long periods but were ultimately unable to secure tickets.

India’s first match against Bangladesh also saw significant interest from cricket enthusiasts, with tickets selling out almost immediately. The demand continued for India’s match against New Zealand on March 2.

Tickets for the knockout stages, including the March 4 semifinal, have also been sold out. Many fans, anticipating India’s qualification for the semis, rushed to secure their seats. Meanwhile, tickets for the second semifinal in Lahore have also been sold.

The only remaining tickets are for the tournament’s final, scheduled for March 9. These tickets will be released after the semifinals.
