“India will dominate world cricket for the next 8 years: Kohli”

India reclaimed the Champions Trophy title by defeating New Zealand in the final. This marks their fourth ICC trophy in the past 15 years. Star batter Virat Kohli believes that India is now prepared to dominate world cricket for the next eight years.

Kohli, who has been a part of the national team for 17 years, is in the twilight of his career. However, he is highly impressed with the performances of the next generation, including Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, and KL Rahul.

Expressing confidence in India’s future, Kohli said, “Before leaving, everyone wants to leave the team in a better position. I believe we have a squad that is ready to dominate world cricket for the next 8 to 10 years.”

Reacting to India’s triumph, Kohli added, “After a tough tour of Australia, we wanted to bounce back. We wanted to win a major tournament, and we finally did it. The dressing room is full of talented players who are eager to take the game forward. As seniors, we are happy to support them. Sharing experiences has made this Indian team stronger.”
