Wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan Sohan will captain the Bangladesh ‘A’ team in the upcoming home series against New Zealand ‘A’. The confirmation came from Bangladesh ‘A’ team coach Mizanur Rahman Babul.
New Zealand ‘A’ has arrived in Bangladesh to play a three-match ODI and two-match Test series. Speaking to the media in Sylhet, Mizanur Rahman said, “The captain has already been finalized—Nurul Hasan Sohan will lead the team. We’re representing our country against another, so of course, we want to move our country forward and play good cricket.”
The three-match ODI series begins tomorrow, May 5, in Sylhet. The second ODI will be held on May 7 at the same venue, and the final ODI is scheduled for May 10 at the Sylhet Outer Stadium.
The ODI series will be followed by two four-day Test matches. The first four-day match will start on May 14 in Sylhet, while the final match of the series will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur from May 21.
