Tanzim Hasan Sakib, a young Bangladeshi pacer, is set to leave for the Global Super League on November 22.

Organized by Cricket West Indies, this new tour nament will feature champion teams from various franchise leagues around the world. Among them is the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) team Rangpur Riders, which will represent Bangladesh in the league.

Interestingly, despite a Bangladeshi team participating, Tanzim Sakib has been signed by the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) franchise Guyana Amazon Warriors specifically for this event. Previously, there were doubts about his participation due to an injury. However, Sakib recently passed a fitness test, confirming his readiness for the league. Following approval from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), he is now cleared to take part in the tournament.

This marks a promising step in Sakib’s career as he joins a global stage to showcase his talent.
