Taskin takes 2 wickets in 2 runs

After conceding 17 runs in his previous over, Taskin Ahmed made a brilliant comeback. The experienced pacer took two wickets in consecutive deliveries.
After a flying start, the West Indies lost three wickets within just 13 runs. The first breakthrough came from leg-spinner Rishad Hossain, who broke the opening stand. In the 13th over, Taskin Ahmed dismissed two batters in two consecutive balls — opener Brandon King and number-four batter Sherfane Rutherford.
Despite being expensive in his earlier over, giving away 17 runs, Taskin bowled a superb 13th over, conceding only 2 runs and removing two top-order Caribbean batters.
On Monday evening at the Birshreshtha Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram, the West Indies got off to a flying start after winning the toss and choosing to bat first in the opening T20 of the three-match series.

The opening pair of Alick Athanaze and Brandon King added 59 runs. The partnership was broken by Rishad Hossain, when Athanaze was bowled while attempting a reverse sweep. With his dismissal, the opening stand ended at 69 runs in 8.2 overs.

Then, in the 13th over, with the team score on 82, both Brandon King and Sherfane Rutherford were dismissed off consecutive deliveries.

Earlier, the West Indies lost the three-match ODI series 2–1 in Mirpur.
