Ticket Prices for Champions Trophy Announced

The Champions Trophy, often referred to as the “Mini World Cup,” is set to commence its ninth edition on February 19. Matches will be held at three venues in Pakistan—Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi—while India’s matches will be played in Dubai, UAE. Ahead of the tournament, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the ticket prices.

Yesterday, PCB released a detailed price list for spectators wishing to watch the matches from the stands. The ticket prices vary based on the stadium and match. For the group stage matches, ticket prices range from a minimum of 1,000 Pakistani Rupees (approximately 440 Bangladeshi Taka) to a maximum of 18,000 Pakistani Rupees (about 7,900 Bangladeshi Taka).

For the semi-final matches, tickets will cost up to 25,000 Pakistani Rupees (around 11,000 Bangladeshi Taka). However, while ticket prices for matches held in Pakistan have been announced, prices for matches in the Dubai International Stadium have not yet been disclosed by the PCB.

Interestingly, tickets for Bangladesh’s matches are notably more expensive than some marquee clashes like Australia vs. England. For the February 27 match between Bangladesh and hosts Pakistan in Rawalpindi, the minimum ticket price has been set at 2,000 Pakistani Rupees (approximately 1,000 Bangladeshi Taka).

The tournament will kick off on February 19 with Pakistan facing New Zealand in the opening match.
